John Brunner on the Issues: Taxes

Posted on February 6, 2012 by John Brunner — No Comments ↓

There should not be any attempts to raise taxes on the American people.

Politicians in Washington spend taxpayer’s money with no accountability. I know, as our Founders did, that the money in the government’s coffers does not belong to the politicians. It originated from and belongs to the American people. And the best thing our government can do for the economy is to let the American people keep more of their own money to save, spend, and invest as they see fit. Our citizens need tax relief and tax certainty. A reform to the US tax code to produce a smaller, flatter tax rate for everyone is needed.
