ABOUT

After his service as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps, John engaged in business as an entrepreneur and manufacturer. Within three decades he built a small family business into a nationwide leader in the industry. He is also actively committed and personally involved in worldwide Christian missions, relief organizations, and assisting our wounded veterans and their families.

Brunner graduated with a BS in Management from Harding University, and completed his graduate education with an MBA at Washington University in St. Louis. He also studied economics at the Foundation of Economic Education, and entrepreneurship at the Harvard Business School.

John has been married to his wife, Jan, for 44 years. They have three children and twelve grandchildren.

John was a candidate for the U. S. Senate in 2012, as well as a candidate for Governor of Missouri in 2016. Currently he is highly engaged with young people in the nationwide organization Young Americans for Liberty. As a U.S. Marine he took an oath of office to  “…support and defend the Constitution of the United States from all enemies, foreign and domestic.” Brunner believes that there is no “expiration date”!

Throughout all his travels, John is always ready to pass along a copy of his small pocket book, Battlefield Verses, to all he meets. It is a story that inspires with a message that is eternal.
